Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County – Mariposa Elementary Club (School-Based Club) is part of a network of school-based Clubs that operate on school campuses. • Schedule: Open after school until 6:00 p.m., with some school-based Clubs also open mornings from 7:00 a.m. until school begins
For over 30 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County has been a cornerstone of youth development. The organization’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Across the county, the Clubs serve 16,000 youth annually and more than 2,200 youth daily through afterschool, summer, and outreach programs that include initiatives supporting school attendance and success.
Every day, Clubs in this organization offer a range of programs focused on health, education, leadership, career readiness, and character development. As part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the organization uses a nationwide network for program development, staff training, resource building, and organizational planning. Club members have completed more than 25,000 community service hours, and 1,000,000 or more meals, snacks, and food pantry items are provided annually to Club members and their families. Reported outcomes from the organization include 97% of Club members being on track to graduate high school, 97% of Club members increasing their GPA, and 89% of Club members improving skills.
